Since September 2011, I have been a teacher in the EEA department of the Faculty of Science at the University of Montpellier 2. My teaching activities are based on the EEA Master's degree, the Professional Licence in Acoustics and Soundscapes and the Numerical Sciences for Health Master's degree.

I am also responsible for UM of the "Engineering of Medical Devices" specialization of the Numerical Sciences for Health Master's degree, which is designed to meet the growing demand from the medical professions for managers who are likely to be at the interface between the fields of Medicine and Engineering in the broad sense.

The specialty "Engineering of Medical Devices" aims to train students in the theoretical and practical mastery of concepts and technological devices applied to biomedical research. Co-labelled by the Faculty of Medicine) and Faculty of Science of UM, the training is supervised by a team of teacher-researchers from both institutions. The pedagogical and professional objectives of the specialty aim to provide students with a high level of scientific training by providing them with skills allowing the conceptualization and implementation of systems in the field of Electronics applied to Medical.

In order to achieve this objective, a basic knowledge base is provided to students through courses in analogue, digital electronics or signal processing (analogue, digital, image). The concepts covered are then developed in the framework of more specialised teaching units (UEs) and based on the skills of several Montpellier research laboratories strongly involved in training. These modules cover, among others, sensors and biomedical instrumentation, medical robotics, neuro-prosthetics or the modelling and regulation of human movement.

Professionalizing modules also allow students to acquire scientific/medical and industrial project management skills or to learn about research careers in the health sector.
